This is an interesting one for me. All of the teachers I’ve read talk about following the path to enlightenment in some way, but honestly I think if I ever met someone who said they were enlightened I would just think they were trying to sell me something. So has anyone out there experienced something they would call enlightenment? What was it like? What did you learn? Was it just a moment or were you changed forever? I think Dogen said that some may never reach enlightenment at all. Should it even be a goal? So many questions.
